Staying with Phil and Nympha is far beyond amazing. The atmosphere that is created is fun, safe and entertaining. You really could not ask for more when staying with them, the food is great, the attention, the activities, and being able to meet people from all around the world.

Phil has been my guardian ever since I got here and the service has been up to the highest standard, the care when staying in his house, attending to any school issues and extracurricular events, keeping in touch with me and my studies and far more. Having Phil as my guardian has been incredible.

I have known Phil for nearly 6 years as he has been acting as a guardian to some of the boys in my boarding house. I am Housemaster of Wargrave, which is one of 3 boys boarding houses at Eastbourne College. The best testament to his professionalism and caring nature is that he is still in touch with families whose children have gone through his care and are now onto university and beyond.
He is extremely reliable and organised and the boys really enjoy going to his house and now the new development which enables him to take more pupils on. He gets involved with the boys academic and pastoral care and is always proactive with passing on any information to me and the College. He attends parent teacher meetings and over the years, I personally and the College have built up an excellent relationship which is based on trust and the knowledge that he does a fantastic job for the pupils in his care.

Phil Langridge has been working as a Guardian to some Claremont students for nearly a year now. In that short time, Phil has impressed us all by his efficiency, reliability, professionalism and good humour. If Phil promises to do something, we know it will be done without fail and with the upmost professionalism.

Phil is genuinely the nicest host family I have ever met! I came to study in England 4 years ago since year 10 and been experiencing many different host families, I would say in terms of the atmosphere Phil has the best, because we are all like a family and socialise a lot instead of staying in our own rooms (which normally happens with other host families) he also organises many activities such as a beach trip or BBQ etc with his fancy blue van that can fit all of us in (about 6-7 people each time?)
He is always very friendly and kind, which is so important because as international students we do need someone to make us feel we are home occasionally.

He has helped me so much with travel arrangements, summer storage as well as ensuring my happiness during my stay and the price is very reasonable, food is nice, I am a vegetarian and he makes everything special for me but similar to what everyone else has, very thoughtful! If I go and visit eastbourne again next time, Phil is definitely the person I will go to and stay with!

I love here and enjoy so much! The food and activities are amazing and brilliant! All the things are unforgettable! So I really hope I can live in your home again!

This is fantastic place to stay at ! There is great atmosphere , very good food , there are things like x-box and TV and if you want you can use it. I very recommend this place ! This was fun time.

My daughter and her friends really had a great time staying at Phil’s house during their school trip from the Netherlands to England. Phil is good company, very friendly and also very funny. My daughter loved the hospitality, the house and the food, everything was so well arranged. Thank you for taking such good care, Phil.

When I met Phil the first time, i knew that this will be a great time.. He is a very funny person! Its a beautiful house and a nice place to stay and the food is great, you can watch TV, play Xbox, watch Netflix, and a good wifi connection, but there are many other activities outside! It was a great experience for me and I really enjoy it. I'm sad that I have to go back to Germany, thank you for the great time!!

I enjoyed the time I spent in the house, the atmosphere is great with different people together and I can't miss out that the food is good, I experienced a range of different dishes. As my guardian he is a nice and funny guys and always gives a hand if I need some helps.
