Accredited Guardianship

PJL Global Students are committed to the ongoing promise of safeguarding students. All our staff are DBS checked and have guidelines to adhere to when they are dealing with our students.

What is child safeguarding?
“The process of protecting children from abuse or neglect, preventing impairment of their health and development, and ensuring they are growing up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care that enables children to have optimum life chances and enter adulthood successfully”

PJL Global Students cares for international students who need to appoint an Educational Guardian. We look after students studying in boarding schools and at our accommodation, our students vary in age from 10 to 18 years old.

We are accredited as Certified Guardians by the Boarding Schools Association.

Philip Langridge is our DSL Designated Safeguard Lead who is trained and experienced in dealing with keeping children and young people safe.

We visit our students regularly and attend parents evening and other events which they might wish to be in. We are in constant communication with the school and house parents in case of any problems or concerns the school, parent or we may identify.

If required we help them to open bank accounts if the parents wish us to do so.

We have our own family owned accommodation and we do not use host families as the students experience can be varied. Our students stay with us in our warm, friendly, clean accommodation with good food and excellent wifi.
